The 2013 ISI Synchronized Skating Championships are here and we look forward to welcoming you to our facility! The following is information that we hope will be of help to you as you plan your weekend.

Location:
All competition events will take place in the Schwan Super Rink - Rinks 2 and 3, located at 1850 – 105th Ave NE, Blaine MN 55449. Front Desk phone 763-717-3891.

Travel by Bus:
All busses must enter and exit through the main NSC complex entrance located off of 105th Ave NE. There will be signs for the driver to follow to the bus drop off location, and once unloaded they should follow the signs to the designated bus parking area.

ISI Complimentary Practice Ice:
For those teams that received complimentary practice ice, please check in at the ice entrance in the rink you are practicing in before entering the ice. Please turn in your CD(s) to the practice ice monitor, as they will be playing your music for you during the practice times.

Reserved Practice Ice:
For those teams that purchased practice ice, please check in at the ice entrance in the rink you are practicing in before entering the ice. Please turn in your CD(s) to the practice ice monitor, as they will be playing your music for you during the practice times. Please bring your e mail confirmation from your practice ice order.

There is still practice ice available to purchase! Please use this practice ice link.

Walk-on Practice Ice:
Walk on practice will be available to purchase if available, throughout the event. Beginning Fri April 12 at 8:00am please purchase this ice on sight at the Front Desk of the Super Rink.

After your initial round, you may book practice ice Saturday night or Sunday morning – if available.

Off-Ice Practice Space:
Remember to reserve your off ice practice space. We will be offering space to reserve in the NSC Dance Studio located on the rink level of Rinks 5 & 6. It is a 3000 square foot dance studio with mirrors and a Bose music system. Please see attached sheet to reserve your times now. Off ice practice/warm-ups will not be allowed in the rink or lobby areas.

Team Lunch Orders:
Team lunches are available for pre-order. Lunches will be available to pick up at the Hat Trick Café on Fri, Sat and Sunday during the event. This is a great way to keep your team together and at the rink! Please see attached info to order yours today! There will be 2 hockey events also taking place at the facility so to avoid long lines and make sure your team can eat at your scheduled time we recommend that you take advantage of this offer.

Flash Mob Video:
Be sure to check out the flash mob dance video and have your team learn the dance so they can be involved whenever the music is played throughout the weekend.

Competitor’s Party:
The deadline for the early bird rate on the competitor’s Party and Synchro Showcase has been extended to Friday, April 5th. The party venue has change from the Schwan’s Expo Center to the Grand Hall which is in one building closer to the Super Rink. It promises to be a great time! Don’t miss out…get your tickets today.

Front Desk:
At the Front Desk of the Rink, we will have a book of nearby restaurants with directions and phone numbers. The Front Desk staff will be happy to assist you with directions and other “local” questions that you may have.

Coaches and Judges Meeting:
Saturday April 13, 8:30-9:30am in the NSC Dance Studio located off the lobby of Rinks 5 & 6 (Back Rinks)
We will be providing a hot breakfast beginning at 8:15am.

Every skater should experience an ISI competition at Schwan Super Rink, where you’ll find an amazing eight ice rinks under one roof! The Super Rink is part of the National Sports Center, one of the largest amateur sports complexes in the world with a place in the Guinness World Records. The Super Rink will be transformed into synchro territory when teams from far and wide make their way to ISI Synchronized Champs. While you’re in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, be sure to check out the Mall of America, the country’s largest shopping and entertainment complex. And don’t forget to capture some of that “Minnesota Nice” to take home with you!
