U.S. Hockey Medalist Julie Chu to Lead Conference Session
ISI is pleased to announce that four-time U.S. Olympic Women's Ice Hockey medalist Julie Chu will be teaching the CAE Leadership and Professional Image course from 8-9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 26 at ISI's annual conference at the DoubleTree by Hilton Boston North Shore in Danvers, Mass. She will also teach the corresponding CAM session. This recent schedule change is not reflected in the conference program book.

The course is designed to help you evaluate your personal and professional image and learn how to make improvements leading to success.

Chu competes in the Candian Women's Hockey League, where she plays forward and defense for the Montreal Stars. She is the only athlete to capture the Clarkson Cup three times. She also coaches at Concordia University in Montreal. She was an assistant coach for University of Minnesota-Duluth, where she helped the women's ice hockey team win their fourth NCAA Division I national championship, and at Union College in Schenectady, NY

With Chu, the U.S. women's hockey team has medaled in four straight Olympics, claiming three silvers and one bronze. Team USA chose Chu to lead the 2014 U.S. Olympic Team into closing ceremonies. She is tied as the second most decorated U.S. female in Olympic Winter Games history.

As team captain at Harvard, Chu became the NCAA's all-time leader in scoring and assists, earning her the Patty Kazmaier Award for top player in women's college hockey. She was named a three-time All American and the USA Hockey Female Athlete of the Year in 2007. She earned her degree in psychology that same year and plans to begin a teaching career after hockey. A Connecticut native, Chu began skating at age eight at Wonderland of Ice in Bridgeport, Conn.
